Nrutyamalhar Rules & regulation

1. Competition Groups:

• Infant Group: Grades 1 to 4
• Junior Group: Grades 5 to 7
• Senior Group: Grades 8 to 10

2. Dance Categories:

• Classical Dance: Any classical dance form from India
• Folk Dance: Any folk dance or folk art form from India
• Open Dance Style: Dance styles other than classical and folk dance

3. Competition Format:

• Solo Dance:
  • One student (male or female) can participate in all three dance categories.
  • Performance time: 3 minutes 30 seconds (4 minutes 30 seconds for a single song, 5 minutes 30 seconds for classical).
• Group Dance:
  • Minimum 10, maximum 25 students can participate in all three dance categories.
  • Performance time: 6 minutes.
  • Students can participate in multiple dance forms.

4. Eligibility:

• Open to all schools and students (CBSE, SSC, ICSE, IB)

5. Registration:

• Online registration is mandatory at nrutyamalhar.com.

6. School ID:

• Bring your school's identity card to the competition. Entry will be denied without it.

7. Arrival:

• Arrive at the venue two hours before your allotted performance time.
• A five-point penalty will be imposed for late arrival.

8. Presentation:

• Bring your own costumes.
• No flammable materials, objects, lamps, incense, or camphor allowed on stage.

9. Age Group Violation:

• Students found in the wrong age group will be disqualified.

10. Misconduct:

• Schools exhibiting misconduct will not be eligible for awards or certificates, even if they win.

11. Venue Change:

• The organizing committee reserves the right to change the venue if necessary.

12. Makeup:

• Makeup room will be provided to participating schools based on their assigned numbers.

13. No Announcements:

• No announcements are allowed before the performance.

14. Multiple Dance Forms:

• Students can participate in multiple dance forms.

15. Parental/Teacher Supervision:

• Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian teacher at the venue.Unaccompanied students will not be allowed entry.

16. Travel Responsibility:

• Nrutya Malhar Sanstha is not responsible for travel arrangements.

17. Final Decision:

• The judges' decision is final. Any disputes arising during the competition will be resolved by the governing body, and their decision will be binding on all schools.

18. Jurisdiction:

• All rules are subject to the jurisdiction of Pune courts only.
